After creating your first league, the Start Date and End Date of the period will have been set at a default of today. You will therefore need to Edit the dates.

In addition, if you decide to extend a particular period over additional weeks, for instance, you will need to again edit the dates. To do so, click on the Edit link:

In addition to the dates, you can also set the period as visible or not:

Any changes to the start and end dates will appear on the public site:

In the same way that you can make the league as a whole visible or not, you can do the same with a specific period. Unticking this box will result in the period being shown as this:

Having processed a league, you may find that you need to investigate new players or simply not wish to make it accessable to players.
