When the fixtures for a league are initially created, the "Active Nomination Period" is set to 1. When a club or team then adds players to their nominations, they are actually adding players to the "Period 1 Nomination List".

Assuming that your league fixtures have at least two periods, then after the first period, you must create the next set of nomination lists.

This can be done in three ways:

Change the Active Nomination Period only.

Go to Nominations & Club Functions for the selected league, and click on Manual Renomination:

At the top, select the next period and click save:

Nothing more need be done except to unlock the nomination lists (return to the Nominations & Club Functions page and use Unlock). Now when the teams come to look at their nomination lists, they will be empty, forcing them to re-enter their players.

Manually Renominate

As previously, go to the Nominations & Club Functions for the selected league, and click on Manual Renomination:

However, this time click on the Copy button and as stated, it will "Copy nomination list from period 1 to 2":

Having done this, change the Active Nomination Period from 1 to 2:

Now, when the teams come to look at their nomination lists, they will be identical to how they were, and they can then edit them if required.

Automatically Renominate

As previously, go to the Nominations & Club Functions for the selected league, and click on Automatic Renomination:

This enables you to carry out both the renomination and advising teams by email automatically on a preset date.

If your league has a substantial break between the two haves, such as Christmas, then the Activation Date can be set to a point immediately after the end of the first half, which gives plenty of time for them to be edited before the second half.

However, if there is no substantial break, then you can set the Activation Date to be two or three weeks before the end of the first half. Note that as long as the process is carried out correctly, whether automatically or manually (see below), then teams will be editing the new list, not the old one, so the fact that first half matches are still being played, does not create a problem.
